Criteria For a Good Poem

The poem needs to make sense and stay on topic.
The poems has to flow naturally.
It cannot be in paragraph form.
It has to have meaning and be able to be understood by the reader.
The poem shouldn't confuse the reader.
The poem has to have sentimental value so the reader can "feel" what they are reading.
